to practical software.
Umar Shariff began his professional career in field sales with Paytm. He later worked in sales roles with real-estate businesses including Casagrand, NoBroker and MGP Developers, and in business development for OYO hotel acquisitions.
Experience with customers, property sales and business acquisition informs a straightforward approach: start with an observable workflow, test it with users, and be transparent about what software can and cannot do.
These organizations are mentioned only as part of the founder's career history. They are not presented as Causelane customers, partners, investors or endorsers.

Causelane was established as a founder-led studio in October 2025. It currently operates without registration or incorporation as an Indian business. October 2025 is the studio's founding date, not an incorporation date. No company registration number is claimed.
